It's been almost three weeks since i last blogged about my life in HCM city.
Been rather busy at work.
Not much of sightseeing but i promise to do some over this weekend and in the nearby future.
Got a new haircut last Saturday at the Tokyo Hair Salon, MANO MANO.

Ho Chi Minh City_Week 2

Mundane and repetitive is what i can describe the whole of this week. Even though i should embrace the fact that today is Sunday and i should be happy, get ready to dress up and go shopping. I just don't have the same energy as compared to when i just came to Vietnam. I'm such a lazybone. My hopes of buying a cheap genuine crumpler has been dashed as they have been confirmed to be fake. The ones in Vietnam have the word crumpler on the logo, just below the brand mascot. Well, i would love to have one but since it's fake and many people has one already maybe i should just look somewhere else for some other bags instead. I still prefer a shoulder bag to a sling bag. I have just realized not too long ago that the TV in my apartment has cable connection. I can watch the F1 season and KBS world for my favorite korean shows. I'm so grateful.What more can i ask for? I'm going to pick up my dirty laundry later on before heading out for lunch. I'm so gonna tour around Saigon if i have the time to do so.

Ho Chi Minh City_Week 1

Straight after the ReComTech paper on Monday, i had to catch a flight to Ho Chi Minh city the day after for my OSIP. We flew in SIA and reach the airport at around 12 in the afternoon. No surprises or whatsoever but the weather over in Vietnam is the same as in Singapore. Albeit worse because of the pollution in the air. I tried not to have high expectations on the place we would be staying but initially, i wasn't used to it but after that night itself i grew accustomed to it. The apartment now feels very cozy and warm due to the fact that the host presented us with warm hospitality. We brought back the necessities and voila, the room was now suitable for us to stay in. Frankly speaking, i cried on the first night as i somehow missed my family but i quickly overcame it and i was feeling all right once more. Thinking back now, i felt stupid to have cried over it. I mean the place is nice and you can find good food everywhere you go. My purpose here is to work not play. I'm sure my family would be proud if i achieved good results from my project. That's my driving force and i wished myself all the best and never give up.

My next and final paper is on Monday and i haven't started my revision yet.

I just don't have enough determination to start with.

I need something or someone to push me on.

Come on it's the final leg of the 'race'. After this, i'm off to Vietnam for my OSIP.

After the joyride on Tuesday, i just started thinking on a lot of things.
These past three years, my achievements, friends and all sorts...

Feelings just started to well inside me.

I hope i'll be able to overcome this and present the ever-go-lucky personality of mine again.

I've been immersing myself with BPT notes for the past week.
Will be doing a final review later on.
This is what my schedule would look like for today

1-3pm: Chapters 1, 2, 6 and 7
5-7pm: Chapters 3, 4 and 5
9-10pm: Calculations

I'm all prepared for tomorrow's paper.
Time really flies and in this case, i'll be leaving for Vietnam for a whole 4 months on next Tuesday.
Just a week more.
Stoned yet filled with anticipation for the trip to Vietnam.
Will definitely miss out the KPop Live Concert Night and the McGang.

Oh, it's gonna be another three weeks prior to my departure to Vietnam.

Today, i just had an interview regarding the bursary i signed up earlier.
Wasn't as nerve-wrecking as i thought so.
Had a fun time speaking to the interviewers. It was more like a conversation rather than a interview.
The atmosphere they created...

Finished with 2 papers already.

Just another 2 more and then it's flying off to Vietnam time.
Can't wait. I think i should use Vietnam as my drive for revision during this period of time.
I'll start with Chapters 1,2 and 7 for my BPT chapters. I've worked out a plan to make maximum use of the time left for revision.

Enthusiasm kinda died down over the weekends hence decided to study with Dorothy outside.
Had lotsa fun while memorizing stuff for LAST.
It's pretty much like a quiz show where we take turns and question one another.
Really enjoyed the time. At the same time, i also managed to memorized everything albeit bits and pieces.
Definitely needs to memorize a few more times.

Then come August 25th would see the official debut of B.E.G there with the Japanese Version of 'Abracadabra'. With the preview, i would say i prefer the original over the Japanese counterpart. Well, it seems too early to conclude anything.

..Dear blog,

on the 15th, we went to a Halal restaurant to celebrate Fidah's birthday. We had a sumptous dinner over there. Felt bloated after what seemed like a simple fare dinner. However, the Beef claypot rice was a tad too oily for my liking. Had a few too many dates after that as dessert, was feeling pretty thirsty. Waved Fidah goodbye. Went to Dorothy's house to water her plants and then sent Mich 'Hyung', Dorothy and Joey home.

Then on the 17th, we went for yet another round of Karaoke. Sang pretty much the new songs such as 'Wedding Dress_Taeyang', 'Magic Girl_Orange Caramel' and 'Shunkan Sentimental_SCANDAL'. I really liked Wedding Dress. Can't wait for the release of the english version of it. After 7 hours of non-stop vocalization, we went to settle our dinner along with a cup of KOI bubble tea each. I had the oolong flavored with just 50% sweetness. Not too sweet, just nice. I like! Stayed on at Carl's Junior for a groupie time. Shared and heard a few shocking stories, things that we would never actually believe would happen. Took 15 with Dorothy till the Prison school which i alighted and transferred to another bus back home. Home sweet home then...

Then just today, met with Huiwen, Priscilla, Miawching for a farewell dinner for Marilyn. Marilyn's gonna leave our sunny island for the states on the 21st. She's furthering her studies in the field of food science. Would only be back after 4 years. That's a long wait. I can't help but feel sad. Bon voyage, Marilyn. All the best, Fighting!!

This coming friday, i'm gonna meet my Vietnam friend for a meal. She's one of my gonna-be-colleagues over at my OSIP place. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and not lost in translation and make a fool of myself. Fingers crossed though, heehee :)

Amidst the fun and laughter here and there, i think it was time to get down to business.
I got started on a few things today.
Started the Tissue Engineering Practical Report Intro part and revision for LAST term test.
I'm pretty pumped up right now.
Don't really understand but yeah.
I was also just notified that there will be 2 Napfa training sessions on the following 2 wednesdays, with the re-test on the 27th August.
Am i ready?

Kan Mi Yeon is one of the former members of the now defunct girl group Baby VOX. In this debut single, it features a collaboration with chic boyband MBLAQ. The rapping part would be done by Mir. The song is somewhat on the perogrative side. The only fault i could find is the scene in the beginning of the MV which IMO has been used by many artistes already. Come up with something new. Otherwise, the song is pretty much very addictive.

I couldn't find the nasally-bias vocals in this Korean comeback album. I wouldn't say the same for her previous Japanese songs. This song seems more appealing after a few listens. It would soon overtake GAME in my playlist as the highest played song.

It seems that Nakagawa Shoko is finally returning to her JPop , Rock roots as it can be seen in this lastest installment of hers. It was used as the opening theme song of the anime "Occult Academy". Throughout the song more emphasis was placed on the electronic guitar riffs to make it standout more. After what seems to be a release of lacklustre singles previously, Nakagawa Shoko is finally understanding what's best for her and in october, she is due to release her third studio album currently untitled. Looking forward to it.

Spicy Rice Cake with a twist, Chilli crab style.

ho i wish i had a kitchen that's as accessible as Ranjetha's one.
Made korean spicy rice cake at her home, with a twist to it.
As i find the sauce itself tad too sweet for my liking, i improvised and used the Singapore chilli crab sauce to make.
Figuring that the rice cake would make the dish too 'flour-ry' which is why i added fish cake to balance the taste.
The dish turned out to be better than i expected, i panicked when i was making the dish thinking what if it fails.
Thanks to Ranjetha and Diyana's help of course, i succeeded.
It feels as if it's the holidays already, of course it isn't.
I still have to prepare for the three remaining papers.
I will make use of the time during this special break to work harder than usual. *cheering myself on*

Tom Cruise pushed the role and they even thought of Samuel L. Jackson
OMG, excuse me a huge black uncle is not going to get the crowd going
Well, not as much as Evelyn Salt.
I've gotta say there's a lot of twists and turns to this movie.
The ending left me a bit stumped.
It was the scene where Salt was running through the dense forest after jumping down from the Helicopter
she was supposedly to be drowned in the river after causing a big commotion at the white house.
I hope there's a sequel to this, they've gotta have another one of this. Definitely.
Overall, the movie was full of suspense and thrill. Points were added for the dangerous stunts and sound effects.
A must watch!
It was also my first time eating the Taiwan Oyster Mee Sua. Damn shiok. Tad spicy tad sour. Just to my liking.

I finally got myself an iPhone 4.
It was worth the wait.
People who didn't make a reservation cannot get it now.
Stocks are limited and could only cater to pre-existing customers.
Many were disappointed while i wore a grin.
As Tissue Engineering paper is just around the corner, i haven't the time to explore my phone yet but i'll do it just this weekend.
I haven't experience any major problems yet, those that were being reported prior to its launch out shores.
Adoring it every minute.

It's down to the last week of this academic term and straight after the exams, i'll be off to Vietnam for around five months for my overseas student internship programme.
Today's Friday, had the LAST lab practical this morning. It wasn't as difficult as we expected. Too paranoid.
This week wrapped up both BPT and TE protocols prior to their submission. I feel very light now.
After the LAST lab session, Revathi suggested to go down to VivO City and chill out there.
Ranjetha, Fidah, Rachel, Bryan Salt Lee, Diyana were also present.
Bought our drinks and started the talk sharing session right after we 'parked' our buttocks to the somewhat uncomfortable chairs.
Hung around there for about three hours. Bryan, Rachel and me travelled down to Marine Parade to meet up with Michelle, JingHui, Joey, Dorothy, Leekiang for dinner.
After the bus ride, i wasn't at the best of condition. I felt very dizzy.
How sweet of Dorothy to get me a glass of warm water after what seems to be one of my passing remarks.
Was very touched, literally. Paying attention to all these details.
The rest of them had Beef Noodles while i 'enjoyed' my bowl of porridge.
We only made our move after ensuring our stomach's were really filled.
Went camwhoring around Parkway the rest of the evening.
Sent Michelle and Dorothy home.
Reached home at about 12 plus.
Speaking of which, it is exactly the time of the launch of the iPhone 4 on our sunny shores.
I've just been notified that iPhone 4 will cost me around 210 bucks if i take the 56 dollars/ month plan. This is certainly looking good. I've never expected to be this affordable. Great deal.

Seoul Garden. Weekends.

As a make-up, we celebrated Rachel's birthday today with a treat over at Seoul Garden along with Revathi, Ranjetha, Diyana, Fidah, Bryan. I was taken aback at how much the 'vultures' could eat. Love the different kinds of marinated meat over there. Had a bit too much, was feeling pretty full. I was filled to the brim literally, on the verge of puking out seriously. We made fun of the lecturers we used to have before leaving the place to catch a movie. We eventually watched the sorcerer's apprentice. It was a cute cliche'd movie. I can recognized two actors which previously acted in Prince of Persia. One which was Hovarth and another, his apprentice. The movie was enjoyable. A light-hearted one, i would say. It's Harry Potter, Walt Disney style. As soon i got home, i immediately have to start on the BPT project. We made good progress. I can foresee that we will be able to hand in on time despite the fact that the deadline has already been pushed back. Compiling the work as of right now. I've got too much on my hands.

LOVE IT OR HATE IT arrangement. Personally, i love it. Not a strong starter track though when compared to previous efforts. The use of keyboard blends in well with the overall arrangement of the song. Then comes the intrusion of the synthesizer which IMO kills off her vocals. However, her vocals seems nicer than on Koi no Yokushiryouku -type EXCITER-. That was a killer for me, preferred the original version to it.

The final single to be released before the unveiling of IMPACT EXCITER. Never really appreciated it but it's placing in the album made me appreciate more. I'm slowly warming up to it. Silent Bible was used as the theme song for the video game Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's PORTABLE -THE BATTLE OF ACES-.

A mixture of old and new elements. Old as in the use of traditional instruments like the Er-Hu and the chinese percussion. This trial came rather successful after the release of "Etsuraku Camellia" in her previous studio album.

Mugen means fantasy in Japanese. The song gives a dreamy feel to the listener. This song was used as the opening theme song for second season of White Album where Mizuki Nana voices one of the main characters along with Seiyuu, Singer Hirano Aya. Clash of the Seiyuu idols.

I've been quite the hungry ghost these days.
I even went to try out the delicacies which were available at the Hokkaido Fair @ TM.
After having lunch at Mos Burger with Leekiang and Joey (I suggested the outing), we went up to the first floor to buy the Hokkaido Curry Cheese Bun. The bun was breaded to give it texture and the melted cheese in the curry filling only add on to the awesomeness. I couldn't finish up the bun so i pass it to Joey who then finished it up. By then i was so damn full even though i ate quite little: just learnt a techinique saying to chew food slower to make yourself fuller with a lesser amount of food. However after the heavy snack, i crave for something light and cooling. It was just coincidental that at the moment we walked past the Hokkaido Ice cream booth and without further ado, i got a Matcha and Sakura flavored double-scoop gelato. We then met Zhixin and Christina and they suggested a round of Monopoly Deal over at Tampines 1. It was decided that we rest our butts over at Teadot, order a few cuppas and just relax. Eat the chill pill, people.

"MAYBE" is definitely second to "WRONG" which is still my favorite track after 115 play hits on my iPod. The former has pretty strong beats coupled with Nishino Kana's adlib in the beginning. A nice track, i must say however it lost to "WRONG" by just something that i just can't explain.

Both tracks are equally addictive. Somewhat reminiscence of the late 90's pop.

That's was what i thought when i first saw images of the flooded Orchard Road.
The continuous downpour since early morning had resulted in flash floods in mostly the central area.
This was the second major flooding incident since 1984.
Some were seen stranded in their vehicles and others have to wait helplessly for assistance.
I actually wanted to shop around the Orchard area but i only woke up in the late afternoon.
It was then i read about the incident which led me to postpone my trip down there.

Wanted to make them more Japanese like.

Pan fry and skewer them to make them look like Dango. Sweet treat hailing from the land of the sun.

Only to realize i don't have the skewer sticks.

Then i found some loose packet of grounded peanuts.

Dipped the "Dango" onto the peanut filling and finally ate them as Muah Chee.

Well, its the beginning of the term break.
2 projects to complete. Namely they are Tissue Engineering and Bioprocess Technology.

The weather of late has not been very desirable. Hot sometimes, cold other times.

I just think that some people are not flexible enough in their thinking.
They often put through their idea to everyone else and that's that.
No more buts.
However i think they should at least listen to people's suggestion and use part of their ideas too.
Make them involve in the discussion.
Totally denying the other party's involvement in a 'GROUP' discussion is none other than being self-centredness.
It's very difficult to work in this kind of group where the others have no or little say.
Its a group work for goodness sake.
Must open up to people's idea too.

confusion

It seems that with every semester gone, i have to find yet another form of motivation in order for me to keep pushing on. I don't know what else can i use as a source of encouragement.
Another thing is that of late, I've been feeling down.
The feeling that's haunting me is a mixture of confusion and being depressed.

Its already coming into the second week of the new term, but i still find myself struggling to keep up.
I really tried...

I'm willing to give myself some time to settle down, hoping that it'll level out eventually.

Maybe i'm just not used to being away from my friends. *Sighs*

I hope to overcome this feeling of lousiness soon.
As a result of that, i've been very short tempered.
Often getting irritated by the slightest thing.

With the COE prices going up steadily, it will now make more sense to go for a continental brand as the cars in that category are usually that expensive already so it won't make much difference before and after the boom. With that, the normal bog sedan from Japan will now cost you at least 70-80k. Apalling, i know. The price bracket that the konnichiwa cars were, are now substituted by their Korean and Malaysia brethrens. It seems that the COE prices will not likely see any fall soon enough as they continue to decrease the quota bids. This piece of news is definitely a bummer to me. I would like to own a car too but at the rate the prices are increasing, i really do not see the point in doing so. There goes my dream of owning a car. Say bye bye to my Citroen DS3.

Honestly speaking, this was yet another first for me.

I've never been to Genting before for the past 17 years of my life. But now i have.

3D2N was not what you called a long holiday.

Whoa. Finally finished watching with the series. The storyline was very close to my heart, in fact to every student's heart. We've all been through that part ourselves too. Only in the later episodes did i shed tears. Well, it reminded me of the O level's. I was just like BongGoo, no matter how hard i tried my results just wasn't improving. Despite the fact that i tried my best and did not gain anything in return, i never gave up. As what they say, practice makes perfect. The series not only emphasizes the importance of education. They also managed to touch on topics like friendship, habits stuff like that. The teachers hired to teach the special Chun-Ha class all have very funny personalities. This is a definite must watch. It brought laughter and tears to me. Overall speaking, this series is JJang!

Everything's in place.
The skinnys arrived just yesterday, a tad small for me.
*Considering selling them to my cousin*
The mio router came this morning.
For two consecutive mornings, my sleep was interrupted.
I'm sure i must have looked funny in front of the deliveryman.
I tried my best to appear awake even though my eyes were half opened.
I've also got the vest just the other day, in fact a shopping trip with Zhixin, Juanping and Jeremy.
Now what's left is the graphic tee. Maybe it's already in my mailbox as we speak.

No, its not one of your toiletries.
Nope.
It's an technopop group made of 3 girls A-chan, Nocchi and Kashiyuka.
The trio's original post-Shibuya-kei style made a sharp transition to electro, house and technopop upon their switch to a major label, produced by Nakata Yasutaka.
Not only that, they have always been compared to artistes like Yellow Magic Orchestra, capsule and Aira Mitsuki.
I still remembered my first love was the song 'one room disco'. It's dance and melody remains vividly in my mind.
It was just hours before my maiden flight to Beijing. As a matter of fact, it happened just last year, around this period of time.
Then just before i was to leave the house, i placed another song into my ipodtouch.
Dream Fighter's the title.
Throughout the whole week over at Beijing, everywhere i go, i would play this song.
So i think the song garnered at least 200 plays at the end of the week old trip.
How addictive a song can be, you ask?
It varies from people to people.
For me, it all boils down to the BGM [instruments wise, melody] and flow.
I admit that i'm very picky in other words, i'm a perfectionista.
At times, i would 'trim' my playlists, getting rid of songs that i still don't llisten after it being in my ipod for so long. A complete waste of space.
Now, moving on. Yeah, those were the two songs that captured me, brought me closer to this trio cut.

I then went on to have their 3 major albums.

From the debut best album, i only took a liking for tracks 1 "perfect star perfect style" and 4 "Electroworld".
Yes, i'm being picky again.

Gotta choose the things i want wisely and with great consideration.
These few days, i've been doing window shopping at several online sites.
Namely [gmarket], [zipia] and [yesstyle].
Just yesterday, i've already ordered for a pair of skinnys for 46 bucks and another graphic tee at only 7 dollars.
Heehee, got offer.
Then now, i'm gonna invest in a good quality vest and maybe pay for another tote bag.
That sums up my shopping list, FOR NOW! Haha
Been eating pretty well these days, i've gotta say.
I think its attributed to the fact that the weather's been very cooling recently.
What can i say? When you're feeling good, your appettite naturally becomes big too.

Recreating something

These few days i've been looking around forums to search for celebrities hairstyle as reference to recreate it.
I've always yearned to have a haircut similar to Jaejoong, TVXQ anyone?
Yeah, i really admire his sense of style. In fact, almost all korean male celebrities are very stylish.
The one i'm trying to recreate is the one he donned on when the group was promoting their MIROTIC single.
It took me alot of time to finally grow out the length of hair required for that hairstyle.
It was something i used to dream of but now i'm capable of that. Heehee.
I know maintaining that hairstyle is very difficult but i'm willing to try...
If only i dared to step into the salon to request for this.
My friend asked me to bring along pictures of Jaejoong in order for the hair stylist to exactly reproduce that particular cut.
I'm planning to go have that haircut just before school reopens.

CHEMISTRY

Don't worry, i'm not really going to start a lecture on chemistry.
CHEMISTRY is a JPop , R&B duo in Japan.
They have been active ever since 2001, they were the winners to an audition similar to American Idol held by sony music.
The first i really liked from them was 'Life goes on-side k-', which was used as the opening for anime cut of Antique Bakery.
It differs a lot from their usual direction. It could be considered as a Electropop dance number.
Whereas, the ending is the slower, ballad version of the same song.
However, i would prefer the former over the latter version.
Personally (I must have repeated this over and over again a thousand times), i favor upbeat, lively songs over dreadful slow ballads.
Actually almost every other song i knew of , it's from anime. Majority not all.
Lately, another song of theirs have been used as the fourth opening of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.
Titled as 'period'.
Both of the songs i've introduced could be found in their new album titled 'regeneration'.

Got money then can be IT Savvy [Updated]

Later this evening, i'll be following Zhixin and Juanping to the IT fair.
My aim there is to get several things. First, a external hard drive and a new wireless mouse.
Zhixin sent me a whole list of brochures for me to choose from, shortlisted a few.
Brands ranging from acer, Buffalo to Seagate.
I see that the price difference between the 500GB and 1TB model not really that big, so have decided to get the latter.
To be frank with you guys, my C Drive currently has only 2.05GB of Memory space left.
It's high time for me to reformat it.
Coincidentally, i have the reformatting disc with me thanks to Louis.
Will update and share some pics with you guys later tonight..

Then that following night, i tried to take things into my hands instead i made matters worse.
I insisted on reformatting my laptop even though the HDD wasn't working. [The comp doesn't recognise it]
I backed up all my songs and pictures on my thumbdrive.
the next thing i knew after i inserted the reformatting disc, i got a black screen with a blinking underscore.
Then i thought to myself, die...
First, the HDD wasn't working then this.
It's just not my day.
My 'first' experiences all kinda failed badly.
So who to turn to when in need? Louis and Zhixin, my saviours.
They assisted me the next day, instructing me on the proper steps to replace the defective HDD and Louis had come down to my home to clear up the mess i made.
Thanks, guys.
Later on, we met Dorothy to have dinner.
I then can at the same time return all her comic books, yes all at once. I helped brought it up to her flat lah.
Must be gentleman wor, actually no big deal lah.
We decided to go for Thai cuisine at Lerk Thai, White Sands branch.
I picked up the tab as repayment to them, Louis for helping me with my computer and Dorothy for the comics.
I told them, the treat only appears once in a blue moon de so must enjoy it while you guys can.

Belated Birthday Celebration for LK at TeoHeng

Wow... can't tell you how eager i was for this day to come.

Can't sleep, can't eat, i'm sick....

No lah, not that exaggerating. But it's been quite a long while since we went to sing.

We sang our hearts out, which is why i booked the room from 1-8pm albeit 3 of us reached there much later.

I finally got the chance to sing FTISLAND's I Hope , it's subunit F.T triple's debut single love letter and Tohoshinki's Doushite kimi o suki ni natte shimatandarou. Heehee

I've totally gone into the singing ballads/ R&B mood.

I'm easily breathless after a fast dance number. One thing is poor stamina. Another is the usage of the wrong voice.

My singing tonation is much higher and sharper than what i usually sound like.

I think i made a great improvement. I manage to finally put vibrato to use.

Master it quite long ago but dare not use it.

An achievement for me. Thumbs up. Jiayou.

The cake we got for LK was a collaborated work amongst the three of us Zhixin, louis and me.

To tell you the truth, the planning and shopping part is the most cumbersome affair.

If i were to do it all over again, i would have started a week earlier.

Cramping everything into 2 day's time is seriously..... Sighs
Speechless.
To our surprise, the cake tasted just fine.

Michelle and the rest commented that the cake was absolutely devine.. In my definition that is, Haha.

AIMI, NOHANA and SHIHO.

That was a very short introduction on the group Stereopony, often stylized as STEREOPONY.
Their major debut was back 2 years ago where they released 'Hitohira no Hanabira', their first single.
It was used as the ending theme to the never ending anime "Bleach".
It seems that they have a pattern in their releases. In fact, every 2 months they will have a new single.
As i've mention this before that their usual style of music is usually melancholic yet addictive.
Very dark flavored tunes.
After their first hit single, they moved on to having a tie-in with yet another popular anime 'Gundam 00'.
'Namida no Mukou', tears across the face is what it meant.
This time, the song was used as the opening title to the second installment of Gundam 00.
I anticipated, at the same time being excited when i first heard the news that they were going to do the opening for the new Gundam series. Cause all Gundam related music pieces are helluva....
In summary, their awesomeness cannot be describe using words. Sugoi!
YUI, which is their labelmate step in and gave them a hand in producing 'I do it', their third single.
Subsequently, two months after they have their first major album -A hydrangea blooms-.

Straight after their album, they followed on to release their forth, fifth and sixth single.
Smilife, Tsukiakari no Michishirube and Hanbunko.
I've always looked forward to their songs.
Good news, here so listen up!
Their 2nd album is nearing.
If my calculations are correct, they would be releasing it during June/ July.

Kikkai no Yume -奇妙の夢-

I've been waking up to a series of weird dreams lately.
First, there was this dream where i encounter a rich man whom he claimed to be my biological father.
I was like, these things do really happen. Hur..hur..hur!
Everything came crashing down when i found out later on that it was just a dream.
Sighs.
Then just yesterday, i dreamt of meeting one of my not so close friend during secondary school days.
What's different was that, in my dream her personality is the complete opposite of reality.
She doesn't carry any arrogance instead she was very welcoming and graceful
I found her working under some Japanese Chef in a Sushi Bar (Very manga-like, i know)
I managed to ask her over and we chatted, only to find out that her whole family had died in a car crash with her being the sole survivor.
She told me she's living with one of his relatives.
I could tell that she's putting on a brave front so i told her not to.
This was what i said to her " M (i shan't name her), please don't do this. Don't hold back. I'm here for you. I'm here as your listening ear. Don't bottle up."
Her voice start to quaver. Tears then came rolling down her cheeks....
I don't know what got into me, i just went up and gave her a hug. (LOL, i know)
I too, was on the verge of crying. I tried my best in holding back.

It suddenly turned quiet. i Then found her sleeping soundly on my shoulders....

I wanted to wake her up but paiseh lah. (In dreams, i can actually feel embarrassed too!)

Then next, i found myself waking up to reality with a smile that is

That made my day, seriously.

I never knew waking up to a hot and hazy day could be this great.

Then i saw my brother. Immediately, my smile slowly faded away.

"Although the time we spent together was short-lived, but i'll cherish it." (LOL yet again)

I found myself walking back into reality.
Hope there's a sequel to my dream, i seriously want to know what's install for me. (Eh, don't think weird arh you ppl)

It seems that of late, pretty much many JPop singers have done covers of some song.

One to mention of is SCANDAL's rendition of Yumemiru Koro wo Sugitemo which was a song from an vintage anime.

Their's simply named as 'Yumemiru Tsubasa'.

Initially, i wasn't really warming up to the song but after several hears, i slowly found myself hooked to it.

STEREOPONY also joined in the bandwagon by remaking Bivatchee's 'Hanbunko'.
This single was released on February 17.
As with other STEREOPONY's releases, it is very addictive.
This song's pace is almost similar to the previously released 'Smilife' and ' Seishun ni, Sono Namida ga Hitsuyou da'.
Both songs are pretty upbeat and very refreshing. It differs alot from their usual style of music, dark and melancholic.

Last but not least is Nakano Aiko with her rendition of REBECCA's 'Friends'.
The song somehow revolutionized itself and became very modern.
Very fitting for the opening of yet another vampire related anime.
That's right, Dance in the Vampire Bund.
I'm currently catching up with this series, what i can say that the plot's very interesting. Not your usual love story.
The original song is pretty much your disco-ish, early 90's music.
I can't say the same for the modern version. The song has a very pop, rock feel now.
This is further enhanced by the low vocal range of the singer.
Hope you enjoy these songs as much as i do too. :)

'Stereo'typing

In an effort to find a replacement for my worn out headphones, i ran down to Funan IT mall in search of it.
I tell you, i was so scared i would get lost there with those IT products almost everywhere.
And i thought Sim Lim Square was already terrible enough.
As i was saying, i was searching for a pair of headphones, audio-techinca's. However, the description that i have at my fingertips is that it costs around 50-60 and it's of this brand. That's all.
I was thinking to myself, the salesman gonna swear at me if i had really mention this to them.
I felt out of place over at Funan, everybody seems to know their stuff
"I'm looking for this product with this much ram and this type of graphic card etc.."
I decided to look around the mall myself first.
After a few rounds, yes literally few rounds.
I finally found the one i had in mind over at Challenger's.
88 dollars, WHAT?!
I stood there in disbelief for about 5 mins and at the same time thinking, deciding whether should i buy it or not?
I then thought to myself, since i'm already willing to part with this much money i might as well get something better.
I asked around and got the directions. I soon find myself at this shop ' The headphones gallery'.
The salesman then introduce me to this pair of (IMO) slender looking pair of headphones.
PortaPro25thAnniversary is the name of the product, by the company KOSS.
This is how it looks like.

Overall, i'm pretty pleased with both the service and the product itself.

It's definitely one of my best buys yet.

world of manga -漫画の世界-

I've been bitten by the manga bug.
Ever since Dorothy introduce my a few titles, i find myself inseparable from the manga ever since.
Even after i've finished reading it, i'll sometimes bring it out again and just read the ending and then smile to myself.
Yes, i know you may think i'm crazy.
My mum tells me that too.
It's beyond my control.
Manga and anime to me is like Cars is to Jeremy, Photography is to Zhixin and Clubbing is to LK.
Everytime i start a new series, i just couldn't help myself to the next book, so on and so forth...
In my opinion, it's better than dramas of late.
Well, at the very least the exaggerated actions of the character appears more likable on comics rather than on screen.
That's my own opinion arh. Hope it doesn't upset anyone.
The two series Dorothy led me into was 'Uwasa no midori-kun' and 'Moekara'.
Both are categorized under the genre of shoujo comics.

Main Characters (left to right): Tsukasa, Shinbashi and extreme right is Yamate Midori.

The former tells a story about a girl, Midori who met a soccer protege on an island where she lived.
Midori is a 15 year-old girl and is a tomboy.
One day, Midori meets a boy called Hino Tsukasa, who came to the island for a holiday.

He teaches her to play soccer and immediately she falls in love with the sport.
Inspired by Tsukasa, Midori continues to play soccer in hopes that they would meet again someday.
When they do meet again, Tsukasa loses her trust by doing something unforgivable (not gonna tell you the details)
Determined to defeat Tsukasa on the soccer field, Midori enrolls in an all-boys high school famous for it's soccer club and starts a new life as a boy there.
However, she met Shinbashi Kazuma and that begins a love triangle...
What happens next, you'll have to find out yourself. My lips are sealed.

Main Characters (left to right): Takara, Hikaru and Arata.
The brothers share an uncanny resemblance except for the eye color.

The latter depicts a similar storyline, yes it's another love triangle.
Two paternal brothers fell in love with the same girl, Wakamiya Hikaru.
The brothers, Honda Takara and Ichikawa Arata are almost similar in their appearances except for their eye color with Arata having blue eyes and Takara having black eyes.
Albeit that, their personalities are completely opposite ends of the earth.
Hikaru joins Takara's high school and begins to date Takara. But then Arata decides to join the school too! Arata realizes his feelings for Hikaru who he teases and nicknames 'Hiyoko'. With Takara falling more and more in love with Hikaru each day the three are thrust into a thrilling love triangle. Hikaru needs to know whats going on! Can she find love in the process? That's for me to know and for you to find out. Lol.

Gundam -Happy 30th anniversary-

You can treat it as a condense episode of the whole of second season.

I've been searching for these 3 episodes for so long, still can't find.
